I am a current student seeking my Master's degree in Graphic Information Technology at Arizona State University. I have a passion for design and technology, and look forward to a rewarding career in Web design & development.
I graduated from ASU in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in English literature. Since then, I have worked as an event planner in New York City, and an administrative and marketing assistant in Sydney, Australia. In my previous positions I enjoyed the design aspect of the projects I worked on, and in 2008 decided to explore a lifelong career in Web design and development. I expect to finish my Master's degree in Graphic Information Technology in December of 2010.
On my free time, I love to travel and cook. I have visited several countries including the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Ireland, Northern Ireland, England, France, Spain, Monacco, Italy, Germany, Austria, Croatia, The Czech Republic, Australia and the United Arab Emirates. I hope to visit Japan, Thailand and travel throughout South America. I enjoy trying new foods and going out to eat. I love sushi, Thai food and Mexican food- and since I am a New Yorker I love bagels and a good slice of pizza.
I am a dog lover and recently adopted a Shih Tzu named Dave. We often visit the nearby dog park, and take walks around the neighborhood.
I am also currently training for the PF Chang's Rock & Roll Marathon in January 2010. I am training with an organization called Team In Training, which raises money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Visit my fundraising page to find out more!
